Saturday 24th December 2011
Willi Betz 105 - Whilst popping into Cherwell Valley one evening this week, I spotted this '1st for the site'. A Willi Betz Czech registered DAF 105XF in Blue. On the whole, December has been a very good month for new Willi Betz to be spotted and this week was no exception. This one has already been listed on the fleet sightings pages.
Sunday 17th December 2011
PMP Dock Line-up - Took this photo below in one of the Transfer Area's in Southampton Container Terminal a few weeks ago, on Sunday whilst we were all waiting to load. Very rare to get six in a row without a break with another haulier in the middle some where.
Saturday 3rd December 2011
A Stirling Job - Over recent weeks Patsy has been working flat out to upload new photo's to the sightings list, with 100's being added in the last few weeks. Especially as I have only recently come back on-line after my Internet problems. So go have at look at all the new photo's in sightings listings. And thank you to Patsy for being dedicated to the site.

From Russia with Love - I took this photo at Clacketts Lane Service in October 2011. The truck is based at one of the 5 depots in Russia. It is the first photo for this site of a Russian Truck, and will in time be put in a Russian Album on the Country Album section.

Sunday 20th November 2011
Polish Mercedes - spotted this one on one of my many visits to Clacketts Lane services this year. I have been seeing more and more of these over the weeks, with 2 being seen at Watford Gap rencently. This one was taken of the 16/11/2011 at Clacketts Lane.

Irish Fleet - One of my favourite fleets from Southern Ireland is the fleet of Dixon International, I managed to get this photo of one of there older Scania 4 series. This was taken in Cherwell Valley Services earlier this week.
Internet Back - After what seems like an age, I have had the internet problem solved (I hope) so from now on it should be normal service resumed. It will just be a normal update this week and then next week when I am sure everything will be settled down I will continue with the page builds, fleet pages work what was being done before.
Saturday 24th Spetember 2011
Maltese Flyer - Spent an hour at Clacketts Lane Services in the rain earlier this week and managed to get a photo of an Express Trailers Lorry from Malta. Later that evening it was parked with me at Northampton outside E M Rogers yard.

Lovely Euro - Spotted this vehicle from the fleet of EuroTransit (Germany) in Cherwell Valley Services earlier on this week and I must say they are one of my favourite European Fleet's. I only see this company now again so it is a nice bonus to get a photo as well.

Sunday 4th September 2011
Another Willi Betz - Quietly naming up my photo's this morning I came across this Willi Betz what I saw last week, and took a photo of. Little did I know is that we actually need it for out sightings listings. The problem being I cannot attach the photo to the listing for some reason. Will keep trying.

Saturday 27th August 2011
ex Klaus Sorensen - This is the second time I have seen this vehicle since it has been withdrawn from Klaus Sorensen's fleet. This picture was taken in Hardwicke, Glos, last Sunday evening. It has an English companies (Sommerscales) low-loader on it.

New Euro Albums - With the introduction of the new albums for the European section which are now organised into countries, we have started uploading photo's to these albums. I spent 30 mins on the M40 taking some euro photo's and have loaded them up in the relevent albums. Below is one taken and placed in the German Album.
Friday 29th July 2011
Kelly European - Monday this week saw me pop into Cherwell Valley and ended up getting the photo below. This company used to be as rare as rocking horse poo in this location, but as of late they are appearing more and more. And what a line up of them this time.

Site Apologies - I would just like to take a minute to apologise for part of this site being in-op. over the last 2 and half weeks. The matter was out of my hands and in this period I could not update the site. Normal service has resumed. So thank you for your patience.
Friday 8th July 2011
Heavy Haulage - Got photo's of these to lorries from the company of 'West of Scotland Heavy Haulage'. With these to Dumpers heading for Southampton Eastern Docks. I had already seen 2 heading south in the morning on the A34 which took the whole road up. With more and more of these movements happening it is getting to be more of a regular thing again.

Saturday 18th June 2011
Nice Scania - Spotted this Scanny at Cherwell last week. Its the 3rd time I have seen these, and I must admit they do look impressive for a European Company. The second was @ Rownhams services. There website is as follows. www.jankulczyk.eu/

Bye da Smarts Trafnidiaeth - This week saw another chapter close on a Transport Company in Southampton. Smarts Transport have closed their gates on their Eling Wharf yard this week for the last time. Friday 6th May 2011
Belgium Fish Truck - Whilst over-nighting at Peterborough Services, I spotted this truck below. I cannot find much about the company apart from they are in the 'Fish Processing & Transportation' in and around Europe. Its a nice truck and livery, especially on a DAF 105XF.

Saturday 30th April 2011
Spanish Trio - whilst busy parked on the A34 yesterday afternoon checking the straps on the trailer, I looked up to be greeted by 3 Transportes Caudetes from Spain. I done no more than clambered back into the cab and grabbed my camera and still managed to get 3 seperate photo's of them. Here is one of the trio below.

Sunday 24th April 2011
Nice Dyce - Whilst on my usual visit to Poole Docks to see the Spanish Ferry being loaded I popped down to the Cafe outside the docks and was amazed to find 3 Dyce Carriers (Scottish Based). Its been a long time since I have seen them parked down here, usually they stay down at Holton Heath nr the Poole Depot. The photo below shows the new wrapped livery Volvo 'Northern Lights'.

French DAF 105XF - Whilst doing a session of photo's on the northbound side of A14 nr Kettering last week, I noticed this 105 coming up. With its smart spray job it looked really nice heading towards me. So I took a photo. There are some real nice european trucks out there.

Saturday 23rd April 2011
Nice Scot - Whilst heading for Grangemouth last weekend, I done my usual 'pop in Service areas' on the way up. Managed to get the photo of Macaskills Haulage with a bulker Trailer on. Have not seen one with a bulker before in fact I was surprised to see him down so far on a Sunday as well.

Nice Scania - Took this photo of Barratlantic Ltd at Bothwell Services this week. The company are based on the Isle of Barra, Scotland. Not a common lorry down south so to get to Scotland to see one is a must for me, and just glad I was taking photo's & the camera was working as it went past.

Sunday 3rd April 2011
Day Out - Had a trip to Eastliegh, train-spotting on Friday of last week with my brother. We spent a few hours there and found it slow and quite boring, so we decided to go to Freightliner Millbrook so he could see a train down there. Well I was not going to moan about it as I could do photo's of trucks coming out the docks. Here are 2 photo's from that day. ANd there was another 80 to be done. Most were all container hauliers but that was okay as they can be put in Container.com on here.

Saturday 26th March 2011
What a Trailer - Spotted this Ben Becker in Leigh Delamere Services last week. Look at that trailer. Can you name all those european landmarks what are pictured on the side of this brand new trailer. Im stuck half way down, but then thats because I have not been in Europe much.

Friday 21st January 2011
Scottish Fish - Snapped this photo of the new (to the fleet) Scania of Tarbert Shellfish. On its weekly run from Scotland to the south coast with live Shellfish. The picture is taken in Chieveley Servicesnear Newbury on Tuesday. There's usually another from the fleet down here, but lately I have only seen this one.

Friday 14th January 2010
1st Betz photo of the year for me - It's been a slow start for photo's of Willi Betz in the first couple of weeks of the new year with me only taking my first picture of one this afternoon in Cherwell Valley. There have been a few around of late though, especially in the form of Draw Bar Units. This one was taken in Cherwell Valley this afternoon and shows a Polish Actros (MSC)

Sunday 9th January 2011
Staple Diet - Spotted this Scania whilst en-rout to Heinz at Wigan. It was parked on Martland Park Est, Wigan nr the Heinz Warehouse. I do like this fleet and very rarely have a chance to photograph one. So was pleased to be able to get this one.

Sunday 2nd January 2011
Mulgrew - Below is a picture what can be viewed in the new Patsy Rench 2010/2011 Album. This being one of her favourite fleets from Northern Ireland.
